An elderly woman was killed in a hit-and-run case in Melhura area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday evening.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a lady identified as Saja Banu wife of Ghulam Mohammad Koka, was hit by an unknown vehicle in Melhura this evening.
They said she was shifted to nearby hospital for treatment, where doctors declared her brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
