A marriage function took an unfortunate turn when twelve individuals fell ill after consuming Wazwaan, a traditional Kashmiri cuisine.

Quoting sources news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that the incident occurred in Singapora Pattan area of district Baramulla, leaving the attendees hospitalized requiring advanced treatment at GMC Baramulla.
According to sources, the affected individuals began experiencing health issues shortly after consuming the Wazwaan. It is suspected that the food may have been contaminated, resulting in food poisoning. However, it is worth mentioning that all of the individuals who fell ill are currently in stable condition after receiving medical attention at GMC Baramulla.
Meanwhile, a police officer told Kashmir Scroll that the police have taken cognizance and are investigating the matter further.
