Srinagar, Feb 05 (ANH): Two militants of TRF an offshoot of banned militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) were killed in an encounter at Zakura area of Srinagar on Saturday morning, official said.
Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet quouting IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, said, ” 02 terrorists of terror outfit LeT/TRF neutralised by Srinagar Police. One of the killed terrorist Ikhlaq Hajam was involved in recent killing of HC Ali Mohd at Hassanpora Anantnag. Incriminating materials including 02 pistols recovered”.
A head constable of JK police Ali Muhammad Ganie was shot at by the militants near his residential house at Hasanpora Tabala area of Bijbehara Anantnag on January 29.
