Two labourers were found dead due to suffocation inside a rented room at Nowgam area of Srinagar on Wednesday, reports said.
The room reportedly belongs to Ghulam Ahmad Ahanger. On receiving information, police reached the spot and started necessary legal proceedings.
The deceased have been identified as Bashir Ahmad Wagay, son of Ghulam Rasool Wagay, and Nisar Ahmad Ahanger, son of Ghulam Ahmad Ahanger. Both were residents of Kokernag in Anantnag district and were working as labourers.

Police said further details are awaited as the investigation is underway.
