Srinagar police said that it has arrested three miscreants for threatening and intimidating media persons, and gave an anti-national byte in a press conference in summer capital Srinagar.
Srinagar Police in a tweet said, “3 Miscreants namely Suhail Khan, Nadeem Shafi Rather & Umar Majeed Wani arrested. They were self-styled leaders and had threatened & intimidated media persons, gave anti-national byte yesterday in a press conference. FIR no 05/2023 in relevant sections registered in Kothibagh PS.”
Suhail Khan, a resident of Kongandara Magam at present UmarAbad HMT Srinagar is the president of “Awami Awaz Party’’ and is also running a Global Innovation Consultancy at NB House Maisuma, while Nadeem Shafi, a resident of Maloora Srinagar is said to be the General secretary and Gazi Umar is said to be State Secretary of the ‘party’.
