Anantnag, Jan 27: Three Army men were on Wednesday injured after militants attacked Road Opening Party (ROP) of 24 RR along Srinagar-Jammu highway near Shamshipora area of Anantnag.

Officials told the news agency—KNO that a ROP of 24 RR was attacked by militants on highway, which resulted in injuries to three army men, adding that forces present in the area also retaliated but the militants managed to escape.

They said injured Army men have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, adding that the condition of one among the injured is stated to be critical.

Later, a massive manhunt has been launched to trace the militants.
