Kathua, Oct 11: A 17-year-old girl died after being hit by an unknown vehicle near Dream Park in Kathua on Friday late night.
An official told that the victim, identified as Kritika Pansotra, daughter of Ram Pal, resident of Kathua, was found lying on the roadside in an injured condition after her scooty was hit by an unidentified vehicle.
She was immediately shifted to GMC Kathua, where doctors declared her brought dead, official said adding that the body has been shifted to GMC mortuary for post-mortem.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken further investigation initiated. (KNC)
