A 16-year-old boy was injured after being stabbed by another boy in Villgam area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, official sources said.
They told news agency GNS that an altercation broke out between two boys while taking bath in Nallah Kehmil in Villgam this afternoon. During the exchange of harsher words, a boy namely Areez Ahmad Ahangar (16) son of Javed Ahmad of Mirpora Trehgam stabbed with some sharp object the other boy namely Saqib Ashraf son of Mohammad Ashraf of Dingree Trehgam leaving him with injuries.
“The injured boy was immediately taken to SDH Kupwara for treatment, where his overall condition is said to be stable”, they said.
Confirming it, a police official told GNS that they have registered in this regard for further investigations.
