Srinagar, Oct 21: Students appearing for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) exams have raised strong objections to the board’s new decision to conduct practical examinations before theory papers.
A group of students has reached out to Asian Hub News Channel, seeking support for their protest against what they call an “unfair and stressful” move by the board.
The students said the new schedule has disrupted their preparation and created unnecessary pressure at a crucial time.
“Conducting practicals before theory exams will disturb our study routine and affect our overall performance,” one of the students said.

They further said that the new order disturbs their revision plans, as students now have to divide time between theory and practicals. It adds extra pressure, since theory exams carry higher marks and need more focus.
To oppose the decision, students are planning to hold a peaceful and democratic protest, urging JKBOSE to revert to the traditional schedule where practicals are conducted after the theory exams.
The students have appealed to JKBOSE to reconsider the decision in the interest of thousands of students preparing for their board exams.
