The four newborns, consisting of three boys and one girl, were born prematurely and underweight in 28th week of the pregnancy. This early arrival made their already delicate situation even more challenging, as premature babies often require intensive medical care to thrive.

The woman, who exhibited incredible strength throughout her pregnancy, began experiencing labor pains. Recognizing the urgency and complexity of the situation, she was referred from the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Keran to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) in Kupwara for immediate medical attention.

Amid this poignant and emotionally charged situation, it’s important to note that the woman who gave birth to these quadruplets is in a stable condition. Her resilience and determination to bring her babies into the world under such challenging circumstances are truly commendable.
