A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Bemina area of Srinagar district on Tuesday morning,
The deceased has been identified as Tanveera wife of Showkat Ahmad Kaloo, of Nundresh Colony, Bemina.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that the body of woman was spotted by some locals who subsequently informed the police, who reached to the spot and took the body into custody.
They said the body was taken to JVC hospital for medico-legal formalities.
It is suspected that the woman has been murdered, reports said.
Meanwhile police have registered a case under FIR no 101/23 U/S 302 IPC in Bemina police station.
