Srinagar, May 24: An elderly woman died after being hit by a vehicle in the Pandach area of Srinagar outskirts.

Reports said that the woman, identified as 65-year-old Khatijah, wife of Ghulam Ahmad Tantray, a resident of Pandach, was critically injured after being hit by an i20 vehicle in the area.

She was rushed to SKIMS Soura for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
