(Asian News Hub) – Jamiat-e-Ahlihadees on Sunday said that it will follow all the COVID-19 related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prevent the virus from spreading while appealing to the government to allow Muslims to offer prayers in Masjids during night curfew hours in Ramadhan.

Addressing a presser, president Jamiat-e-Ahlihadeesc G M Bhat Almadni according to the news agency—KNO, said that they are ready to follow each and every SOP to prevent the virus from spreading, however, the government should not disallow the Muslims to offer prayers during night curfew hours.

Notably, the organization prior to the presser held a meeting in which religious clerics from different areas participated. During the meeting, the teachings over SOPs and other related things were shared with the participants.

President of the organization further said that the government should make people aware about preventive measures suggested by the health experts and people should follow the government decisions and must not violate the norms.

Replying to a query, the president said that the people must avoid visiting crowded places in view of the pandemic and that those who are taking the situation lightly must remember many people have lost lives since the outbreak of the pandemic. “People should follow the SOPs in letter and spirit,” he said.
