(Asian News Hub) – The weatherman here has predicted light rainfall across plains and snowfall in higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday (October 23).
Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Deputy Director Meteorological department (MeT), Mukhtar Ahmad said that there is no forecast of any major snowfall in plains as of now.

However, he said that there is a possibility of light rainfall in plains and snowfall in higher reaches of the Union Territory on Saturday.
Ahmad also said that the forecast of rains is from Friday evening, but the main activity will be on Saturday.
Pertinently, the two-day wet spell witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir from Sunday brought the mercury down in the Valley.
