Srinagar police on Tuesday said to have arrested three accused persons for severely beating, Injuring two boys in Iddgah park located in downtown area.

The accused persons have been identified as Ahrar Sidiq Najar, Atif Zaffar Wani, Haseeb Ahmad Mir all from Wanganpora.

They said that case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Safakadal police station and weapon of offence has also been recovered.

Srinagar police in a tweet said, “02 boys in Eidgah park were severely beaten & injured by some persons today, 03 accused persons namely 1. Ahrar Sidiq Najar 2. Atif Zaffar Wani 3. Haseeb Ahmad Mir all from Wanganpora are arrested by police teams. FIR registered in Safakadal PS, weapon of offence also recovered.”
