Srinagar, Sept 30: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drug from the society, Srinagar Police have arrested two non-local narcotic smugglers and recovered huge quantity of poppy straw from their possession.
Srinagar Police in a tweet informed that, “Two Narcotic smugglers namely Goldy Singh and Jitender Singh both from Taran Taran, Punjab arrested while smuggling Poppy straw. 33 kgs & 700 grams of poppy recovered. Case under FIR No 77/22 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act registered at kothibagh PS.”
