Srinagar, Sept 27: Two local militants of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) militants outfit were killed in an encounter in Athwatoo area of Kulgam district on Tuesday, police said.
Quoting ADGP Vijay Kumar, Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, “KulgamEncounterUpdate: The killed 02 categorised JeM terrorists have been identified as Mohammad Shafi Ganie of Batpora, Kulgam & Mohammad Asif Wani @ Yawar of Takia Gopalpora, Kulgam. 02 AK 47 rifles, ammunition recovered.”
