Srinagar, Sep 14: Two men lost their lives in separate incidents after falling from walnut trees in south and north Kashmir.
On Saturday, a man identified as Bashir Hussain Bania, son of Noor Hussain Bania of Rangmarg Sedow, fell from a walnut tree in Heerpora area of Shopian. He was taken to District Hospital Shopian, where doctors declared him brought dead.
In another incident on Sunday, Mohd Akbar Mir, son of Ghulam Nabi Mir of Muqami Shahwali Drugmulla in Kupwara, sustained critical injuries after falling from a walnut tree. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Police have taken cognizance of both incidents and initiated further investigation.
