Kishtwar, May 16: In a heartbreaking incident, two children died after they fell into a river near the Drabshalla Police Post in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday afternoon.
The children have been identified as Mohammad Irfan, son of Atta Mohammad, and Tehseen Ahmad, son of Noor Hussain. Both were residents of Pianallha village in Tehsil Drabshalla.
As soon as the local authorities got information about the incident, teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the Red Cross reached the spot and started a rescue operation.

After a search operation, the bodies of both children were recovered from the river.
The incident has left the entire village in deep shock and sorrow.
