Srinagar police on Saturday said to have arrested two persons for assaulting media person amd disturbing peace, reportedly in Dalgate area.

They said accused identified as Sahil Bashir Sheikh S/o Bashir Ahmed Sheikh and Yasir Jabbar Sheikh S/o Ab Jabbar Sheikh, both Residents of Batamaloo were in inebriated condition. Case under FIR No 29/2023 U/S 323, 341,506 IPC registered in Khanyar police station.
Srinagar police in a tweet informed, “Two miscreants namely Sahil Bashir Sheikh S/o Bashir Ahmed Sheikh &Yasir Jabbar Sheikh S/o Ab Jabbar Sheikh, both Residents of Batmaloo arrested for assaulting media person & disturbing peace. They were in inebriated condition. FIR No 29/2023U/S 323, 341,506 IPC in Khanyar police station.
