Srinagar, Oct 29: A severe accident occurred in Sonamarg involving an oil tanker and an Alto vehicle, both vehicles registered in Kargil, reports said.
They said the collision resulted in the death of one individual and left another critically injured.
Local police promptly arrived at the scene and have arrested the driver of the oil tanker. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Raza Hibatullah son of Mohammad Hadi of Kargil and the injured has been identified as Zakir Hussain Hibatullah son of Mohammad Hadi of Kargil.
