Srinagar, Jan 14: A retired professor of Psychology from Srinagar has come up with his 16th book on Covid-19 and its impact.

Dr M Salim Parvez,60,  from Bemina in Srinagar published his 16th book recently “The Bio Earth Quake 2019—nCov” or “Covid-19” in which he has touched all issues related to Covid-19 virus.

Parvez while talking with the news agency-KNO said that it took him around 4 months to write the 300-page book in which every issue related to Covid-19 has been written in detail.

“Covid-19 has shaken the whole world. It has devastated our economy and has affected our education severely,” he said. ” In this book, I have mentioned how mask culture developed and the origin of the concept of quarantine, Isolation, role of doctors and other important things.”

“The book covers several important topics including why the pandemic and travel were inextricably linked, how the different sectors of the industry reacted to the crisis, leadership and communication strategies employed by the industry during the crisis, and the social, economic and environmental impacts of the pandemic as they relate to travels,” he said

“Communication, leadership, go hand in hand,” he said, adding the ability to adapt is also important as it was clear from the beginning of the pandemic that business will not return to normal.

Parvez said he has quoted different philosophers and even Quran and Hadith in the book and given history as well and described what ancient people did when they faced such a crisis and what people should do if such circumstances come to fore in future as well.

“I have also written about what kind of role, media can play in times of crisis, besides that, I have also mentioned how to cope up and how to help our education sector,” he said.

Dr Parvez has written so far 16 books on different issues and has bagged a gold medal too for his contribution in the education sector.
