Srinagar, Sept 15: A teenage boy who was critically injured in a landmine blast near an Army camp in Khundroo area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday has succumbed to his injuries.
A senior police officer said the boy passed away this morning at BB Cantt Army Hospital Srinagar, where he had been shifted after sustaining serious injuries.

On Sunday, the victim, identified as Shahid Ahmad, son of Mohammad Yousuf from Lavloopora Larnoo, had crossed the Army fence at 21 FAD Khundroo when a landmine went off. He was initially rushed to GMC Anantnag and later referred to 92 Base Hospital Srinagar in critical condition, but could not survive.
