Srinagar, April 27: A teenage boy died while playing cricket in his native village of Takiya Batapora in the Kunzer area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday

Shahzaib Muzaffar Shah, a Class 7 student and son of Muzaffar Shah, was struck on the neck by a cricket ball during a game, leaving him unconscious.

He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital and later referred to SKIMS Bemina, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Man Critically Injured in Ganderbal Accident Succumbs

Meanwhile, an official also confirmed the death and said that police have taken cognizance of the matter. (KB)
