Srinagar, July 12: A teacher lost his life while several others were injured in a road accident in Keran area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district this afternoon.
Quoting an official news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that one vehicle bearing registration no. HR 26BY0374 turned turtle in Keran area and on boarded 08 passengers were injured.
They said that the police party rushed to the spot and injured were shifted to nearby medical facility. Where some injured were shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment.

However, one among injured identified as Farid Ahmad, who is said to be teacher by profession succumbed to injuries at SKIMS Soura, while his father who has received critical injuries is under treatment, they said.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.
