Baramulla, Aug 13 : A youth from Srinagar drowned while bathing at Namblan waterfall in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
Officials told that the incident occurred when the youth, who was on a picnic, entered the water at Namblan in Baramulla and drowned.
They said that locals managed to retrieve his body, but his life could not be saved.
The deceased youth has been identified as Mohd Irfan Rather, son of Mohd Yousf Rather, a resident of Hyderpora, Srinagar.
