Srinagar, Nov 18: A woman who was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle at Main Chowk Chadoora on Tuesday, has succumbed to her injuries.
Witnesses said she was struck while crossing the busy intersection, prompting immediate help from locals who rushed her to Sub-District Hospital Chadoora. From there, doctors referred her to Bone & Joint Hospital Barzulla for specialised treatment.
Despite efforts by the medical teams, she could not survive the grievous injuries. She has been identified as 32-year-old Sobiya, a resident of Zoonimar Srinagar.

Police have registered a case in this regard and launched an investigation into the incident.
