In a statement, a police spokesman said that acting on credible information, Zakoora police identified Ab Hameed Kuchay, a resident of Soura and operator of Sunshine Foods at SICOP Zakoora, as a key suspect in a criminal conspiracy to supply decomposed meat unfit for consumption.

He is alleged to have conspired with Arif Ahmad Shah, a resident of Baghat Barzulla, to distribute large quantities of rotten meat to restaurants and hotels across Srinagar, he said.
