Srinagar, Oct 02: A Special Police Officer (SPO) was killed while as Asst Sub-inspector (ASI) of CRPF was injured in a militant attack at Pingelan area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.

Reports reaching The Asian News Hub said that militants fired upon joint naka party of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF in Pingelan Pulwama.

In the attack an SPO of Jammu and Kashmir Police identified as Javaid Ahmad of Pulwama was killed and ASI of CRPF identified as Jain Deshmukh was injured, who has been shifted to hospital, where his condition is said to be stable, reports said.
