Srinagar, Aug 13: A Special Police Officer (SPO), who was injured in a road accident on August 3, succumbed to his injuries in SKIMS.
Quoting official sources news agency KNC reported that the SPO identified as Muhammad Maqbool, a resident of Gurez area of Bandipora, was hit by a speedy vehicle when he was driving his Scooty in Bandipora.
He was shifted to CHC Dawar wherefrom he was shifted to SKIMS, Soura. However, he breathed his last late night, sources said.

Police have registered the case and investigations have been taken up.
