Snowfall hits traffic at Srinagar airport, 25 flights cancelled

The air traffic to and from Srinagar was heavily affected due to continuous snowfall in the Valley, with twenty five flights being cancelled due to low visibility on Friday, reports said.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that Snowfall and poor visibility forced cancellation of 25 out of 34 scheduled flights from Srinagar International Airport on Friday.

The flight cancellations led to chaotic scenes at the airport as hundreds of passengers were left stranded, reports added.
