Srinagar, Sept 26: A scooty-rider was killed after allegedly being hit by a JCB in Kunzar along Srinagar-Gulmarg highway on Monday evening.
Quoting an eyewitness of the incident, the news agency GNS reported that “a scooty-rider was hit by a JCB in Chechloora of Kunzer area, leaving him fatally injured.” The injured person was evacuated to a hospital, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Javid Ahmad Gojree son of Showkat Ahmad Gojree, resident of Aboora Kunzer.
A police official told GNS that a case has been registered into the incident to ascertain nature of the accident.
