Kunzer, Jun 23: In a spirited interaction with the academic fraternity, the Minister of Education, Sakina Masood Itto, visited the Government Model Higher Secondary School (GMHSS) Kunzer on Monday, where she engaged with teachers, inspected student-led innovations, and felicitated meritorious students for their academic achievements.
According to a statement, during her visit, the Minister held a detailed interaction with the teaching staff and said the pivotal role of quality education in shaping a progressive society. She reiterated the government’s unwavering focus on student empowerment and holistic learning, asserting that education must prepare students to excel across all spheres of life.
She highlighted various forward-looking reforms initiated by the administration in recent years, particularly those aimed at enhancing digital infrastructure in schools and promoting inclusive education. “The government is committed to bridging the urban-rural divide through progressive scholarship schemes and tech-enabled classrooms,” she said.

A major attraction of the event was the stall exhibition organized by the school’s Tourism Department, which showcased the creative talents and project work of students, particularly in areas related to local food and alternative healthy food options. These vibrant and educational displays were highly appreciated by the visiting dignitaries and added a lively, experiential dimension to the day’s celebrations.
Students from various schools across Zone Kunzer participated in a dynamic Science Exhibition. Young innovators presented impressive working models such as a hydraulic bridge, an electric motor car, and several other creative scientific displays. These models reflected the scientific curiosity, innovation, and practical skills of the students and were a major highlight of the day, drawing praise from both guests and attendees
Interacting with the students, the Minister urged them to remain steadfast in pursuing their ambitions, assuring them of full government support in turning their goals into reality. “We are here to ensure that no dream is too distant,” she affirmed.
Itto personally felicitated the meritorious students of Classes 10 and 12, acknowledging their hard work and resilience. The event stood as a testament to the school’s vibrant learning environment and its commitment to fostering all-round excellence.
