Srinagar, Jun 02: A tragic road accident in the Choncha Faqir area of Noorbagh, Srinagar, claimed the life of a 7-year-old boy on Monday.
According to initial reports, the minor, identified as Haris Shafi, son of Muhammad Shafi Ganie and a resident of Choncha Faqir, Noorbagh, sustained critical injuries after being hit by a load carrier (Chota Hathi).
The injured child was immediately shifted to SKIMS, Bemina, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The incident has caused deep shock and grief in the local community. Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
