Bandipora, Aug 24: The Deputy Commissioner, (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed along with ARTO Bandipora, on Tuesday handed over cheques as interim relief to the NoKs of deceased in Road Accidents.

ARTO Bandipora informed that Rs. One lakh has been provided to Road accident victims in death cases among which 50 thousand is disbursed immediately as interim relief.
The DC handed over financial assistance of Rs. 50 thousand each among the next of kin (NoK) of the two death cases, as interim relief from Road accident fund.

Dr. Owais directed ARTO Bandipora to process other cases and provide financial assistance to the road accident victims as per norms.
