Despite numerous complaints to the relevant authorities, residents claim no effective action has been taken to resolve the problem.

Locals said that officials have made empty promises without providing any tangible solutions.

They said the damaged pipeline has led to inconsistent and causing severe inconvenience for the community for over a month.

“We have been raising this issue for a long time, but it seems our concerns are falling on deaf ears,” said one resident, adding that there is an urgent need to restore the leaked pipeline.

Wahid, another local, said, “We have been contacting the local PHR lineman and other concerned officials for more than a month, but nothing has changed. We’ve reached out to the lineman, his superiors, and others in the PHE/Jal Shakti department, yet no repairs have been made.”

When KNO attempted to contact the department for an update, officials said the issue would be resolved in a day or two. However, as days went by, further attempts to reach the department went unanswered, leaving residents increasingly frustrated. KNO
