Pulwama, Jun 17: A 23-year-old youth from Pulwama died of a sudden cardiac arrest while watching a local cricket match at Wathoo area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Tabish Showkat Maqdoomi, a resident of Drusoo area in Pulwama district. According to eyewitnesses, Tabish was watching the match when he suddenly collapsed on the ground.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby health facility and later referred to a hospital in Srinagar. However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead.

Preliminary reports suggest that Tabish suffered a massive heart attack, leading to his sudden demise. The incident has left the local community in shock and mourning.
