Srinagar, May 23: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed concern on X (formerly Twitter) over the health of renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi, Sheikh-ul-Hadith of Darul Uloom Rahimiya, following reports of a heart attack earlier today.
Mirwaiz confirmed that Mufti Qasmi Sahib is currently receiving treatment at SKIMS, Srinagar. “I spoke to the attending doctors — Alhamdulillah, Mufti Sahib’s condition is stable now and he is recovering well,” he said.

Mirwaiz concluded with prayers for the scholar’s swift recovery: “May Allah Almighty grant him a complete and speedy recovery.”
Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi is widely respected in the Islamic scholarly community for his teachings and contributions to religious education.
