Sopore, March 15 (ANH): A pedestrian was killed in a road accident in Potkha area of Sopore on Tuesday.

An official told Asian News Hub that a 50-year-old pedestrian identified as Abdul Majeed Sheikh resident of Frasdobh Khaitang area of Baramulla district was critically injured in a road accident in Putkha Sopore.
He was subsequently rushed to nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, he said.
Meanwhile local police has taken cognizance of the incident and started investigations.
