Ganderbal, Nov 22: A pedestrian died after being hit by a tipper on the Srinagar–Bandipora National Highway near Sheikhzoo on Saturday.
Reports said that a tipper struck a pedestrian identified as Abdul Rashid Garoo, son of Late Abdul Aziz Garoo, Wangipora Payeen, Sumbal, leaving him critically injured.
They said the injured man was immediately shifted to CHC Sumbal, where doctors declared him brought dead.
