Srinagar, May 22: A PDD daily wager died of an electric shock in Pattan area of North Kashmir Baramulla district on Wednesday afternoon.
Quoting an official news agency Kashmir Scroll said that a man identified as Gh Mohd Wani Son of Habibullah Wani resident of Seeriguiwa Dangerpora (50) working as Daily Wager in PDD department while rectifying the fault of the smart meter received electric shock.
They said that Wani was immediately taken to SDH Pattan for immediate treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

They said that necessary proceedings along with investigation has been taken up.
