Budgam, Nov 09: Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday launched a sharp attack on PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, accusing her of making “historic blunders” during the PDP-BJP coalition era.
Speaking to reporters, Omar Abdullah said, “SARFAESI Act and GST were implemented during her tenure. They brought the BJP here, which ultimately led to the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A. What benefit did we get? There was the devastation of 2016, and she is yet to apologise for it.”
He further alleged that major crackdowns began under Mehbooba Mufti’s government.

“The series of arrests began during her tenure. The process of dismissing government employees started during the PDP-BJP regime. How many young people were arrested after 2016 and are still not released? How many PSA cases were filed? She should tell us how many were arrested and how many were actually released,” Omar said.
CM Omar added that Mehbooba Mufti should accept her role and apologise. “By joining hands with the BJP, she committed a historic blunder, but she is not ready to acknowledge it. Our Left parties are better than this. If a mistake has been made, that mistake should be apologised for,” CM Omar said. (KNC)
