“This year it is not possible but in the next year, we will restore it with all stakeholders on board,” Itoo said adding that she was getting a number of calls from the concerned stakeholders to restore the previous academic session.

Itoo further said, “I have asked the concerned officials to provide me details of infrastructure issues. Besides, I have also came to know that there is a dearth of staff in school education department.”

Meanwhile, Itoo on Monday chaired an introductory meet of School Education Department—reviews its functioning.

Itoo in the meeting held detailed deliberations on various aspects of SED besides discussing issues and concerns of the department.

During the meeting, the minister asserted that there was a need of collaborative efforts for enhancing educational outcomes for students across the region.

Itoo in the meeting said, “Our primary goal is to ensure that every child receives quality education in line with requirements of today’s scientific and digital world.”
