Anantnag, Sept 12: A motorcyclist was killed after his two-wheeler collided with a Tavera vehicle in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An accident involved a Tavera and a motorcycle at Buchoo Kokernag. The motorcycle rider, identified as Showkat Ahmad Wani (36), son of Mohd Afzal, resident of Adigam Kokernag, sustained grievous injuries in the mishap, reports JKNS.
They said he was initially rushed to Anantnag hospital for treatment and later referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Body of Labourer Recovered from Wular Lake After Week-Long Search
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings.
