MeT Predicts 4-Day Wet Spell, Issues Yellow Alert From Feb 25

Srinagar, Feb 21: The local Meteorological Department has issued a four-day yellow alert for Jammu and Kashmir divisions, forecasting rain and snow from February 25 to February 28.

According to Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, Director of the Meteorological Department, dry weather conditions are expected for the next three days. However, starting February 25, the region may witness light to moderate rain and snow at most places, with isolated heavy rain and snowfall in certain areas.

Residents have been advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions during the forecasted weather disturbance.
