Srinagar, Mar 05: The meteorological department has forecasted moderate rain and snow at most places in Jammu and Kashmir from March 12 to March 14.
An official from the Meteorological Department told Asian News Hub that light to moderate rain and snow are expected at most places in Jammu and Kashmir from March 12 to March 14.
He said that no significant weather activity is expected until 10th March, with the possibility of light rain/snow at scattered places during the night of 6th March to 7th March.

The Meteorological Department has issued an advisory, urging travelers and tourists to plan accordingly and adhere to administrative/traffic police advisories due to heavy to very heavy snowfall in certain middle and higher reaches. The general public in hilly areas is advised to avoid venturing into avalanche-prone and sloping areas, following avalanche warnings and advisories. Farmers are encouraged to resume farm operations.
