Srinagar, Jun 17: A massive fire broke out at Pamposh Colony in Noorbagh area of Srinagar this evening, damaging several residential houses.
According to officials, the fire started in one of the houses and quickly spread to nearby structures. The Fire and Emergency Services Department rushed to the spot and is currently trying to control the flames.
Local residents also joined in to help the firefighters in preventing the fire from spreading further.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. So far, there have been no reports of injuries.
