A 45-year-old man fatally stabbed his wife with a knife in front of their kids after she reportedly took her time opening the door of home in the early hours of Sunday morning.

As per reports, a man fatally stabbed his wife to death in their apartment in Lucknow following a heated argument that had erupted between the couple after he returned home. The accused has been identified as Aditya Kapoor, who worked in a clothing store.
Their two children were witnesses to the escalating confrontation. In an attempt to contain the situation and protect themselves, they tried to confine their father within a room after the brutal murder. Aditya jumped from the third floor of their apartment, resulting in severe injuries and was subsequently hospitalised.
The children informed the police of their father’s act, reporting that he had used a knife to harm their mother. Aditya had previously made multiple suicide attempts and frequently engaged in arguments with his wife.
