Shopian, Aug 21: A man was killed while as, two others were injured in twin road accidents in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday.

Reports reaching The Asian News Hub (ANH) said that Mohammad Lateef resident of Check-i-Mirzapora died on spot in a road accident in Voterpora Village of Shopian.

They said that after completing medico-legal formalities the body of deceased was handed over to family for last rites.

Reports added that two persons identified as Zeeshan hussain of Landoora Shopian and Mohammad Ayoub of DK pora were injured in another road accident in Harmain area after their vehicles collided with each other.

The injured were shifted to DH Shopian from treatment, however Mohammad Ayoub has been referred to GMC Anantnag for specialised treatment.

Meanwhile Police has taken cognizance of the incident, reports added.
