Srinagar, May 03: A man died after receiving an electric shock in Shalimar area of Srinagar this evening.

Reports said that the man identified as Bashir Ahmad rather, a resident of Ahrabal, Shalimar recieved an electric shock while repairing a faulty line.

They said he was rushed to nearby hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
